Trained by our Paddle Canada certified instructors, participants will become much more experienced and learn the basics of SUP practice at sea.
You will find a magical environment that makes it easy to learn paddle techniques in complete safety in the warm waters of the bay of Tadoussac.
Following this training, campers from the Mer et monde ecotours site in Bergeronnes will be able to use the launch independently with their own equipment!

With this wonderful place of learning at your fingertips, the opportunity to learn or even improve your skills in paddle boarding is perfect. Our certified Paddle Canada instructors in Basic Flatwater are passionate about two things: water and whales. Come and take advantage of their experience and their motivation to introduce you to this increasingly popular sport.
You will learn all the basics, including paddling techniques, the particularities of your board as well as the safety elements, especially in relation to the environment where marine mammals are found.
- 30 minutes of preparation
- 30 minutes of theoretical training
- 1 hour of practical training
- 30 minutes of free play in the water to practice your new knowledge

Rates
Adults (14 and over) : $65.00 + taxes (15%)
Combo package
Add any other activity offered by Mer et monde écotours and get a 10% discount on the least expensive activity. For $130.00 per adult, get a half-day of sea kayaking (Tadoussac and Bergeronnes) and a SUP activity in Tadoussac (depending on availability and respective conditions of the selected activities). Available upon reservation by phone only.
Equipment provided:
- A wetsuit
- A flotation jacket
- Neoprene boots
- All navigation equipment (paddle and paddle board)
Important: For optimal comfort, we suggest you bring thin synthetic underwear or a swimsuit (avoid cotton), a cap, a pair of sunglasses, a bottle of water and sunscreen. Also bring a change of warm clothes, a fleece-type sweater, socks and a hat, tuque or cap..
