HALF DAY FULL DAY
A larger-then-life-experienceon the whale route

A day at sea is an ideal way to bond with a guide who is passionate about their profession and optimize your observations of the marine environment.

Your day begins with an introductory hour on land, then you’ll sail quietly to a small beach in Les Escoumins to enjoy a light, healthy meal. The return is easy, assisted by the currents, winds and tides. The route is particularly conducive to observing marine mammals as well as discovering sheltered bays and an unspoiled and wild coast.

Activity details

Set off for a day at sea, with the salty air on your face and enjoy an exceptional trip!

  • 1 hour of land preparation (interpretation, dressing, kayak fitting, safety rules)
  • Around 4 hours 30 minutes of observation spread out over the day
  • About 90 minutes of lunch break in a unique place (lunch included)
  • 30 minutes of wrapping up (undressing, pick-up and closing remarks)
  • The itinerary of your sea trip will be conducive to observing marine mammals and birds, the coasts of the territory and breathtaking landscapes.

Each observation must be appreciated. The frequently used expression “the pool is very big” reflects an often-forgotten fact… Whales are scattered over a large area of water and are therefore difficult to predict.

A midday break of at least 90 minutes to enjoy a healthy meal including local products. In the case of allergies or food preferences, please bring your own meal and $15 will be reimbursed to you. A vegetarian option is available on request, so please let us know.

  • Each child under 17 years of age must be paired with an adult.
  • Activity not recommended for women under 4 months or over 6 months pregnant.
  • Anyone showing up to the activity under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused and will not be refunded.
