You must arrive 0 h 30 in advance at the Mer et monde ecotours tent on the beach of Tadoussac.

Please note that in case of delay, participants will not be able to join the activity and will not be refunded.

Allow extra time to find parking in Tadoussac.

Activity details

Duration 7 h 00

• 0 h 45 of land preparation (interpretation, clothing, adjustment of kayaks, safety rules),
• 5 h 00 on the water approximately divided into morning and afternoon,
• 1 h 00/ 1 h 30 of meal time a break of at least an hour and a half where you will enjoy a healthy  and vegétarian meal including local products will be enjoyed at mid-day
• 0 h 15  of finalization (collection, undressing, final word).

Each observation is appreciated. Indeed, the frequently used expression “the pool is very large” reflects a truth often forgotten… Whales are dispersed over a large body of water and are therefore unpredictable.

In the case of allergies, please inform us, bring your meal and $15 will be credited to you. 

Conditions

• Minimum age: 12 years old.
• Each child under 14 years of age must be paired with an adult.
• Activity not recommended for women under 4 months or over 6 months pregnant.
• Level of difficulty : From beginner to advanced.

It is at the discretion of on-site staff to refuse matches for participants between the ages of 14 and 17 depending on weather conditions.

A minimum of 4 participants is required for full-day activities: if an insufficient number of participants is registered the day before the activity, you will be contacted and we may postpone, modify or cancel your activity with refund.

Rate

Adults (14 years old and more) : $160.00 + taxes

Children (12- 13 years) : $120.00 + taxes

Equipment provided

• A wetsuit
• A windbreaker
• A flotation jacket
• Neoprene boots
• A skirt
• And all navigation equipment (paddle and sea kayak)

Important:  For your comfort on warmer days, it is suggested to bring thin synthetic underwear or a swimsuit (avoid cotton), a cap, a pair of sunglasses, a bottle of water and sunscreen.  For cooler days, add thicker synthetic clothing, a warm fleece-type sweater, wool or synthetic socks, a hat, toque or cap.
