Activity details

Under the silence of the dawn, at the height of the colors of a new day, only the fauna and flora come to life. The rhythm of the activity literally creates a symbiosis between you and the environment. The intimate and almost private outing, in a group of 8 people maximum on the water, allows you to take full advantage of your guide, who will know how to surprise you once on the water. A perfect excursion for early risers who want to capture and feel the energy of nature.

Each observation must be appreciated. The frequently used expression “the pool is very big” reflects an often-forgotten reality… Whales are scattered over a large area of water and are therefore difficult to predict.

Conditions

• Minimum age: 7 years old
• Each child under 14 years of age must be paired with an adult
• Not recommended for women under 4 months or over 6 months pregnant

It is at the discretion of on-site staff to refuse matches for participants between the ages of 14 and 17 depending on weather conditions.

Duration

2 hours 30 minutes:

• 45 minutes of land preparation (interpretation, dressing, kayak fitting, safety rules)
• 90 minutes on the water
• 15 minutes of wrapping up (pick-up, undressing and closing remarks)

Rates

Adults (14 and over) : $83.00 + taxes (15%)

Children (under 14) : $61.00 + taxes (15%)

Add any other activity offered by Mer et monde écotours and get a 10% discount on the least expensive activity. For $130.00 per adult, get a half-day of sea kayaking (Tadoussac and Bergeronnes) and a SUP activity in Tadoussac (depending on availability and respective conditions of the selected activities). Available upon reservation by phone only.

Equipment provided:

• A wetsuit
• A windbreaker
• A flotation jacket
• Neoprene boots
• A skirt
• All navigation equipment (paddle and sea kayak)

Important: For optimum comfort, we suggest that you bring thin synthetic underwear or a swimsuit (avoid cotton), a pair of sunglasses, a bottle of water and sunscreen. Also, bring a warm change of clothes, a warm fleece-type sweater, socks and a hat, a toque or a cap.
